“NIAGARA” layout (Let’s Get Sketchy DT work)

Hi Scrapbookers!

Today I’d like to share the “NIAGARA” layout, which is my Let’s Get Sketchy (LGS) design team work for February! Here is the sketch:

みなさん、こんにちは!今日は2月のLet’s Get Sketchy (LGS) design team作品、“NIAGARA” layoutをご紹介します。スケッチはこちら:

I realized I haven’t created any layouts with my Niagara trip picture back in May 2018, so wanted to focus on the 4x6 photo we took at the Table Rock in Niagara Falls. There is many blue in my photo (of course there is a lot of water splash!), so I picked this collection for my layout that would perfectly match with the blue. As a background paper, I chose the blue-wood themed paper.

Since I used this collection papers before, I had many scraps… (you will easily understand me keeping EVERYTHING lol) and I wanted to re-use some of them. Here is what I picked from my stashes:

*Did you notice that my cat behind the glass table is watching me? How cute she is!

Then I placed squares based on the sketch.. and almost done! Look at how easy it is!

After I placed my 4x6 photo, I felt like I want to do something at the right-upper corner as there was a lot of space. So I went back to my craft storage room and grabbed a large white doilies for the background. Since I already had white flowers at the bottom of the layout, it perfectly matched!

For embelishments, I did fussy cutting of the two flowers from my stashes. For the flower on my photo, I placed a light-blue crystal stone so that it stands out. For the title, I used the dark-blue mini form sticker. See, everything is

So here is the final layout. Surprisingly I never used my paper trimmer for this layout lol

Hope you get inspiration and re-use your scrap stashes 😊

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
